The technology behind your managed server
Computing power
AMD EPYC processors and ECC memory power our hosts. Your package defines the vCPU and RAM resources for your application.
NVMe storage
Samsung NVMe SSDs provide storage for your virtual servers, holding the operating system, your applications and their data.
Three data copies
Ceph stores three copies of your data on separate hosts. This replication complements the backups used to restore earlier versions of your data.
Redundant connectivity
The hosts have redundant connectivity of at least 2 × 25 Gbit/s. Bandwidth is shared. Each host connects to the Ceph storage network at a minimum of 2 × 100 Gbit/s.
Traffic & billing
20 TB traffic per month included. Additional traffic: €1.50 per TB, excluding VAT. Alternatively, we can arrange a Gbit/s flat rate or 95th-percentile billing.

Licences and dependencies
Three terminal users are included in the four standard plans. Additional terminal users cost €7 per month; Microsoft Office 2024 is available for a one-off €279. Further licence requirements are checked before quotation.
Migration and backup
Applications, profiles, printers, data volumes, identities and maintenance windows are recorded before migration. The standard plans include automatic backups with seven daily onsite and two weekly offsite copies.

How does my team use a terminal server?
Employees access a central Windows desktop over an internet connection. Applications and the working environment are hosted on the terminal server, whether they work at the office, from home or while travelling.
How much does an additional terminal user cost?
Each additional terminal user costs €7 / month. This is charged in addition to the server. We plan any other required software licences separately.
What does the managed option include?
It includes user and permission management, a firewall with VPN, monitoring, patch management and backup verification. We agree the support scope with you. Additional user licences are charged separately.
How is the data backed up?
